Avila Valley Barn is the perfect place to take the family. There is a mini game farm with all types of goats, chickens, and barnyard animals. Fresh baked pies, apple cider, ice cream and produce and gifts galore. Avila Valley Barn really shines in the Summer and Fall. The Barn closes right after Christmas, but opens again in the Spring. Avila Barn is associated with Gopher Glen apple farm - just a few miles away and worth the trip.
The Madonna Inn is a gem in San Luis Obispo that everyone must visit. Themed guest rooms, and a dining room that’s decorated for the season are some reasons to visit, but locals are familiar with the “unique attraction” in the men’s room, and incredible food in the Copper Cafe.
